Adoration Of The Gipper

In remembrance of the birth of Saint Reagan, I would like to pay tribute to the 2012 Republican Presidential Wannabes. May they always worship the Mythic Gipper and hold true to all that he supposedly stood for… even if he didn’t.

Man, you have got that Photoshop thang goin’ ON! That is delightfully creepy, especially Gingrich’s edge-of-orgasm expression. I’m too well brought-up to speculate on what he might have been doing when that picture was taken. Bachmann looks a bit like a curious chimpanzee trying to figure how to get a banana out of a mason jar.
I always kind of liked Saint Ronnie myself, when he was President – he did have the personal touch, it was hard not to like him. Much of the dislike currently directed at him results from the Republicans’ persistent efforts to canonize him. But it’s true he’s remembered for a lot of things he never did or never said, while some of his less laudable policies (like raising taxes every year but one while President) are dead and buried.
