Sometimes it’s Not About the Money

January 22, 2011

Who would have guessed Comcast wanted to shit-can the top earner at their shiny new cable news organization?  Keith Olbermann certainly did, that’s why he cut a deal to end Countdown on his terms.  Good for him.  Eight years is a good run for any show on television, so even though we will all miss it, you can bet that Keith will be back at some point with something as good or better.  Let’s just hope that in mean time, we get to keep our other great voices on the Left like Rachel and Ed…

Because sometimes, no matter how many golden eggs you can lay, it’s just not about the money.
